Guests are invited to visit the historic buildings and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and wines; try their luck at games; dance to live music by the Kaleb McIntire Band; and participate in a silent auction with amazing prizes. We will also offer a delicious BBQ dinner, provided by the Wichita Wagonmasters.
The funds raised at Cowtown Hootenanny support programming at Old Cowtown Museum and the Board of Trustee’s nearly 20,000-piece permanent artifact collection of textiles, furnishings, tools, furniture, machinery, farming equipment, and art. Old Cowtown Museum's collections reflect aspects of life on the frontier in the late 1860s and 1870s.
